Israeli police claimed she attempted to stab a policeman, but eyewitnesses stressed that this is not the truth
Israeli police forces murdered on Wednesday afternoon mother of Palestinian martyr while heading to perform prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli police opened fire at the Palestinian mother at Damascus Gate of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem.
The Israeli occupation police prevented paramedics from offering first aid or evacuate the wounded woman. They left her bleeding to death.
Officially, the Palestinian ministry of health announced the death of the woman, identifying her as Siham Ratib al-Nimir, 49.
A couple of months ago, exactly on September 7, 2016, the Israeli occupation police opened fire at the car of her son Mustafa al-Nimir, while he was driving back after shopping for his family with his brother-in-law, who was wounded.
The Israeli occupation claimed that he attempted to carry out a stabbing attack and a vehicular attack and later on recognised that he was killed mistakenly.
Like what happened with Mustafa, the Israeli occupation police claimed that the mother attempted to carry out a stabbing attack to justify their murder. However, eyewitnesses stressed that she did not attempt to do that.
